Playing through the AnyDVD (on the computer), AnyDVD emulates the Region code, but you can not play it on the TV through AnyDVD. That is why I assumed, the not playing with a regular DVD player, may be caused by the missing region code. I don't have a DVD player only with my computer. It confused me too, but the DVD plays through a DVD burner not only on the computer, but also through the DVD burner for the TV.
